Pooja Tilvawala and Javan Santos (Policy Manager) were selected by Climate Generation to be youth delegates at COY17/COP27 in Egypt. Lastly, TCI received a Guidestar Platinum Seal of Transparency in 2022. 2021: Pooja Tilvawala (Youth Engagement Manager) was nominated as one of eight U.S. youth delegates to attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COY16/COP26) in Scotland. MISSION STATEMENT The Climate Initiative (TCI) is a national, nonpartisan and science-based climate change organization whose mission is to empower youth voices for climate action. Through TCI's free climate educational programming for educators, as well as climate action resources direct to youth (ages 13-23), the next generation is learning about climate solutions and creating local, tangible solutions to global climate challenges while becoming agents of change in their communities and beyond. We also accept sponsorships and host traditional donor events like dinners, happy hour gatherings and more. We are interested in pursuing new event opportunities such as book talks and interactive engagement on the impacts of climate change, and are eager for collaboration with partners that are interested in sponsoring, supporting physical space for events and encouraging staff of potential partners to join us!
