Cording became a certified financial planner in 2016, and a certified divorce financial analyst in 2022. She worked at two Hartford wealth man- agement firms, helping manage high net worth clients with assets under man- agement ranging from $1 million up to $1 billion. In her current firm, she is respon- sible for assets under management over $100 million. She was awarded the Five Star Wealth Manager Award in 2021 and 2022. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? I helped our team grow client assets under management by double-digits each year since joining Weiss, Hale & Zahansky. How are you involved in the community? I am a member of the Board of Trustees for The Woodstock Academy, serve on the Board of Directors for The WA Foundation and am secretary for The Quasset Cemetery Association. I also serve as volunteer coordinator for Putnam Business Association's Fire & Ice event and am head coach for NECONN United. What do you like to do outside of work? I enjoy playing golf with my fiancé, Josh. I also enjoy running and am most proud of completing my first marathon in 2021. I enjoy traveling with my family and hope to visit all 50 states before turning 50. I also love coaching and playing soccer. Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty? • Currently managing client relationships with over $100 million in total assets under management. • First non-partner advisor at Weiss, Hale & Zahansky to help our company achieve double-digit annual growth in assets under management since joining in 2019. • Serve on several boards and community initiatives that help our community to live well. • Obtained two designations over the last several years, Certified Financial Planner and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, which help me to better meet client needs. Campanelli provides legal guidance to ConnectiCare and its affiliates and ensures the company's regu- latory compliance throughout its operations. Prior to ConnectiCare, she was the assistant deputy commissioner for government relations at the Connecticut Insurance Department, and was associate general counsel in Gov. Ned Lamont's first administration. Campanelli has made helping people a cor- nerstone of her work throughout her career. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? Throughout my career, I have been committed to ensuring the citizens of Connecticut receive quality health care. I have been an instrumental influence in Connecticut health and insurance law, drafting several bills that passed into law, aimed at protecting consumers and ensuring efficient operations for health insurers. How are you involved in the community? I am vice president of the board of directors for the Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective, a nonprofit that ensures quality health care to the LGBTQIA+ community. I'm also an active fundraiser for a number of organizations, including Lambda Legal. I served six years on the Berlin Board of Education and two years on the Town Council. Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty? • Pivotal in shaping the state's health and insurance laws and regulations, pro- viding consumer protection and better coverage for all. • Leader in the LGBTQIA+ community, having dedicated time and effort to various causes. • Established strong relationships that run the gamut from political players to community and business leaders to ensure inclusivity in professional and volunteer work. • Finds success, no matter the envi- ronment – government, corporate, nonprofit, politics. Kristin Campanelli Age: 39 Company: ConnectiCare Inc. Davis is the president of Flow Tech Inc., a manufacturer's representative that sells, services and supports engineered products that help people create safe, healthy and efficient building environments. Davis started as Flow Tech's first-ever sales intern in 2009 before moving to outside sales in 2012. In 2021, Flow Tech became 100% employee-owned and Davis took over as president. Davis' responsibilities include leading the sales team and managing the company's profitability and success. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? Helping Flow Tech transition into an employee stock ownership plan and taking over as president. Flow Tech is set up for a bright future of growth given our current structure and the people we have to help drive the company forward. How are you involved in the community? I have been a volunteer of the local chapter of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers for over 10 years. My wife and I volunteer for a local animal rescue as cat/ kitten fosters. I also volunteer as treasurer of a local cemetery association, which includes a veteran's cemetery. What do you like to do outside of work? I like to exercise, and especially enjoy biking, including taking daily bike rides with my dog Daisy. I enjoy competing in local men's basket- ball leagues and love to read and listen to books. I'm a proud horse show dad to my daughter and video gamer dad to my son. Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty? • Took over as president of Flow Tech at age 33. • Lead a growing 100% employee-owned company with nearly 30 employees. • Dedicated to promoting sales engi- neering and construction to the future workforce leaders of the industry. • Active dad and husband who loves to give back and have fun.
