Provide quality programs and services that fulfill our mission, while meeting community needs. 5. Participate as a partner in community initiatives that further reflect and support our mission. 6. Maintain financial stability and increase resources for greater financial independence and sustainability. 7. Recruit and retain an active, diverse, and talented pool of staff and volunteers. FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES Purchase a ticket to attend or sponsor the YWCA's annual events including: • Domestic Violence Breakfast (October) • Tribute to Women (September) • Stand Against Racism (April) GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Donate online, by mail or by phone year-round. Make a one-time or recurring gi at www.ywcacm.org/ donate; send check to YWCA Central Massachusetts, 1 Salem Square, Worcester, MA 01608; or contact the Development Office at 508-767-2505, x108 or at development@ywcacm.org. Bequests and Planned Gis – Make a legacy gi by including the YWCA Central Massachusetts in your will or trust. Donor-Advised Funds – e YWCA accepts gis from donor-advised funds in support of its programs/services. If you have a fund with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab or BNY Mellon, you can recommend a gi to the YWCA via DAFDirect on the agency's website, or you can request directly from your fund manager. Facebook Fundraisers – Create a Facebook Fundraiser to celebrate a birthday, in lieu of gis for the holidays or "just because" to benefit your favorite YWCA program. Share with your friends and ask them to make a donation too. In-kind Donations – Donate items on our Wish List – everything from household cleaning supplies to personal care products to bath/bedding and gi cards for food and gas. ese items directly benefit our programs and the participants they serve. Matching Gis – Contact your company's HR department to see if your employer will increase the impact of your donation to the YWCA with a matching gi. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES e YWCA has various volunteer opportunities available for individuals and small groups, for high school and college students, young female professionals, adults, and retirees. e YWCA is looking for adult female mentors for middle and high school girls and financial literacy coaches.
