It will be known as the Margaret Chase Smith Community School. This spring, Waterstone Properties announced that Landry/French would be managing the $150 million medical center at Rock Row. In addition, Landry/ French is nearing completion of the Avesta Porter Station in Portland, with a fall completion expected. PM CONSTRUCTION TACKLING RETAIL PROJECTS PM Construction has started a full-scale renovation is underway for Hannaford's second Scarborough supermarket. The 58,000-square-foot store on Payne Road was previously occupied by Shaw's. Design is led by Harriman. Work is also progressing on a renovation of the Hannaford supermarket in Winthrop. The store will remain open during the updates. Construction is ongoing for a multi-unit retail development in Scarborough adja- cent to the Marden's lot. Starbucks will be the anchor tenant. Port City and Sebago are part of the project team. In Orono, Consigli Construction has the steel going up on its ground-up construction of a site for Tyler Technologies. CONSIGLI BUSY NORTH AND SOUTH In Orono, Consigli Construction has the steel going up on its ground-up construc- tion of a site for Tyler Technologies. Consigli is also quite busy in Portland, just blocks from its Maine headquarters. For client East Brown Cow, it has several projects in the works. At One Canal Plaza, where the flagship tenant is KeyBank, Consigli is adding 24,000 square feet of glass-fronted retail space on the ground floor, a grand staircase and redesigned lobby and significant concrete work. Completion is expected in winter 2024. At 178 and 184 Middle St., it will add 19 apartment units, short-term "Urban Homes" marketed through the Docent's Collection. Renovations on the first floor will support retail spaces while work on the upper floors will convert office space to hospitality units. Work is expected to be completed in spring 2024. At Two Canal Plaza, Consigli is adding a glass entrance and doing lobby renova- tions, with work winding up in winter 2024. At 121 Middle St., Consigli will convert office space into seven Urban Homes to the Docent's Collection. Completion is expected by spring 2024.
