Temba Maqubela (on right) is the eighth presi- dent at the 139-year-old Groton School and came to the institution from Phillips Academy in Andover. Eric W. Dickson altered the masking policy at UMass Memorial in May, making masks optional in most hospital settings. Laurie Leshin left WPI to become the director of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. When Francesco Cesareo was replaced as president by Greg Weiner (pictured), it marked the first time a Jewish person would lead a Catholic college.
