Green Island was sold by South Windsor-based Green Island LLC and principal Donald J. Vaccaro to Green Island Beach LLC, an affiliate of Goldie and Goldie Holdings of South- port, for $3.5 million. Green Island, with an appraised value of $1.1 million, had been on the market since August 2022. It went under con- tract in November and the deal closed April 25, according to listing agent Kiara Rusconi of William Raveis Real Estate. Green Island features a four-bed- room, two bath, 2,308-square-foot, single-family home, a famed Duo Dick- inson-designed villa, with an open floor plan built in 1990. e property has two beach-front areas and is surrounded by more than 70 acres of oyster beds. e 0.77-acre retreat is located off Limewood Beach, with accessibility from nearby Stony Creek village or the Branford River State Launch by ferry or private water- cra.
