Former Stanley Black & Decker CEO Jim Loree

the founder and CEO of Farmington-based advi-
sory firm Corbin Advisors, were presented with the
Visionary Leader Award by Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Connecticut at the statewide youth mentoring
organization's Expanding Potential Gala, held
recently at The Society Room in Hartford. The award
was presented by Andy Fleischmann (right), the
nonprofit's president and CEO.
Hartford Promise recently held a Workforce Break-
fast to highlight the 900-plus Hartford scholars who
have benefited from the nonprofit, which provides
scholarships to Hartford Public School students.

The MetroHartford Alliance on March 30 held its
Pulse of the Region Connect breakfast featuring
Mayor Luke Bronin at Dunkin' Park. Bronin was
interviewed by Bank of America Hartford Market
President Joe Gianni (shown left).
