Maine's influx of new residents in the
past few years has affected real estate
prices in every corner of the state, but
possibly no more so than in Cumberland
and York counties. For the three months
ended Nov. 30, Cumberland and York
counties accounted for more than a third
of Maine's overall sales volume. Yet as
the number of sales continues to drop,
the median price of homes sold contin-
ues to rise.
