Dr. Jasdeep Sidana and his practice, which includes Docs Medical Group Inc., Docs Urgent Care LLP, Lung Docs of CT P.C., Epic Family Physi- cians LLP and Continuum Medical Group LLC, will pay $4,267,950, according to an announcement. Sidana is based in East Haven, ac- cording to the Secretary of the State's office. Sidana specializes in pulmon- ology and is the owner and CEO of a medical practice with more than 20 facilities throughout Connecticut. e practice offers primary and urgent care services, allergy testing and treat- ment, and COVID-19 testing. California biotech buys Branford's IsoPlexis for $57.8M A California bioscience company has acquired Branford's IsoPlexis in an all-stock transaction valued at $57.8 million, the companies announced. Berkeley Lights, based in Emeryville, Calif., said it intends to combine the two companies' similar cell biology technologies, customer bases and com- mercial channels to form a new firm, to be called PhenomeX. PhenomeX will provide live cell biology research tools and new per- spectives on the phenome, a cell's com- bination of genetic traits and environ- mental factors. IsoPlexis instruments focus on how multi-functional immune cells com- municate and respond, while Berkeley Lights' technology enables customers to analyze and choose the best cells for research.
