Its other affiliates are the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Central Mass South, Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce, and Webster Dudley Oxford Chamber of Commerce. With LABO's members, the Worcester Regional Chamber now has 2,350 mem- bers, extending its lead as the largest chamber in Massachusetts. e partnership gives LABO mem- bers, which consists of around 350 Latino-owned businesses across the state of Massachusetts, full access to all of the Worcester chamber's programs and services, according to the April 29 press release detailing the partnership. Following Insulet resignation, no Central Mass. public companies are led by a female CEO When Shacey Petrovic stepped down as CEO of Acton medical-device compa- ny Insulet in May for personal reasons, she le Central Massachusetts without a single public company headquartered here, traded on NASDAQ or New York Stock Exchange, with a woman as CEO. Petrovic le her CEO position to deal with a family medical issue, but re- mained on the company's board and will continue with the company as an advisor through May 2023. Jim Hollingshead succeeded Petrovic as CEO on June 1. Hollingshead had been a member of the Insulet board of directors since 2019 and was most recently the president of the sleep and respiratory care business at ResMed Inc. in San Diego. Insulet announced the CEO transition in a May 5 press release to the public and its investors. WBJ came across this news in late August while pursuing another story about Insulet. Petrovic's resignation means none of the 15 publicly traded companies headquartered in Central Massachusetts have a female CEO. Public companies are among the largest and most visible businesses in the region, including some with annual revenues in the billions of dollars, and because they are publicly traded have to divulge more information about their operations, including the makeup of their executive teams and their salaries. Other than Insulet, the other Central Massachusetts public companies are: • Ameresco, Inc. of Framingham • American Superconductor Corp. of Ayer • Boston Scientific Corp. of Marlbor- ough • BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. of Westbor- ough • Cognex Corp. of Natick • Cytiva of Marlborough • e Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. of Worcester • Hologic, Inc. of Marlborough • IPG Photonics Corp. of Oxford • e L.S.
