Funding includes a $600,000 FAME direct loan and $600,000 from the Grow Maine Program. The fund- ing will allow for investment in a new CNC machine and prep-and-finish equipment. It will also fund construction of an addition to the property, and provide ongoing work- ing capital. KV Tooling Systems, founded in 2002 in owner and President Brian Beland's basement, is now located at 2459 N. Belfast Ave. in Augusta. Champoux Insurance Agency in Lewiston donated $10,000 to Make-A-Wish Maine that will provide one wish to a child in their own state who has been diagnosed with a critical illness. Norway Savings Bank said it will donate $15,000 to the Indigo Arts Alliance in Portland to support the mission and programming, which includes a residency program for international artists of many disciplines that makes connections with Maine-based Black and Brown artists. Geiger, a promotional products distribu- tor in Lewiston, announced a partnership with the Roux Institute at Northeastern University to develop and expand the company's digital and analytic needs. UScellular donated 25 wireless hotspots and two years of ser vice valued at $28,150 to New Hope Midcoast in Rockland as part of its After School Ac- cess Project. Bar Harbor Wealth Management an- nounced that, through the Hattie A. & Fred C. Lynam Trust, a total of $140,000 was awarded to 44 organizations serv- ing the people of Mount Desert Island. NorState Federal Credit Union in Mada- waska announced the retirement of Susan Whitehead. Whitehead has been with the credit union for 34 years, the past nine years as president and CEO.
