AT&T's Atlantic region consists of the six New England states, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Emra began his career at AT&T in 2001 and worked as its regional vice president for external and legislative affairs in Connecticut until being named president of Connecticut in 2013. For the past two years, he served as New England region president. Harc, a Hartford-based nonprofit that helps those with intellectual disabilities, has named Russell Coleman its new presi- dent and CEO. Coleman joins Harc with 20 years of experience working in the human services industry. Prior positions include 17 years with ICES in Naugatuck and most recently serving as exec- utive director at Allied Rehabilitation Centers Inc. He replaces Kenneth Cabral, who left the organization in May after less than two years on the job. Daniel McLaughlin, Harc's CFO, had been serving as interim CEO. Vernon law firm Kahan Kerensky Capossela LLP has hired attorney William R. Broneill to head up its real estate department. Broneill joins KKC after 20 years in private practice in Manchester, where he focused on residential and commercial real estate. Broneill will assume the responsibilities of running the department from attorney Douglas Manion, who will be transi- tioning into semi-retirement at the end of this year. Labor and employment legal prac- tice FordHarrison LLP announced that Proloy K. Das has joined the firm as a partner in its Hartford office. Proloy represents clients involved in appellate litigation in various civil litigation matters, including manage- ment in employment law litigation. Prior to joining FordHarrison, Proloy founded an appellate practice group at Murtha Cullina LLP. Dennis Jakiela, a patent agent at Hartford-based intellectual prop- erty law firm Cantor Colburn, has joined the board of directors of Capital Classics. Capital Classics is the nonprofit theater company that produces the Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival at the St. Joseph University in West Hartford. Jakiela will serve a one-year term. Bryan Kier has been named senior vice pres- ident, chief risk officer at Northwest Community Bank. Kier has 25 years of banking and risk management services experience in Connecticut. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Nonprofit Operation Fuel has named Keyla Palala as its new communications and program manager. Palala is responsible for all of Operation Fuel's communications and developing and overseeing the nonprof- it's strategic marketing plan to achieve year- round fundraising, volunteer and engagement objectives.
