Natalie Friel Vice president & general manager, site head, Resilience, in Marlborough Residence: Weston Education: Bachelor's degree from United States Military Academy West Point, and MBA from Duke University What are the keys to success for women in the workplace? Be brave: take a chance and be the first woman in a particular role, even if it feels uncomfortable, and be a voice that can be heard. Don't underestimate the power of developing executive presence. What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome? While leading a large organization in Europe, I had to overcome language obstacles while navigating morale issues and headcount reductions. I learned to communicate in many different ways to lead with empathy. Who inspires you? Georgeta Puscalau, who was our company's chief quality officer, really inspired me. I learned by watching her remain fiercely optimistic and people- focused, even when faced with tough business or personal challenges. 2022 WINNER
