Heart of Ellsworth added Lucille Poulin and Tracy Scheckel to its board of direc- tors. Poulin is a hospice nurse while Scheckel is marketing and advertising manager at the Ellsworth American. VIP Tires & Service in Auburn announced that Gary MacCausland was elected as a board member of the Tire Industry Association. MacCausland, who will serve a three- year term, is senior vice president of operations and merchandising. [ A C H I E V E M E N T S ] The city of Portland announced that Jeff Tarling, city arborist, was named a Paul Harris Fellow, the Rotary's highest honor. Jennifer Goodrich, vice president of finance and physician prac- tice operations at Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in Greenville and Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, became a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Julie Rosenbach, sustainability direc- tor for the city of South Portland, was a recipient of the Natural Resources Council of Maine's "2022 Conservation Leadership Award." Berman & Simmons, a law firm in Lewiston, said Benchmark Litigation gave the firm a "Highly Recommended" rating. In addition, attorneys Steven Silin and James O'Connell were named "Local Litigation Stars" while attorneys Susan Faunce and Jodi Nofsinger were recog- nized as "Future Stars." The Maine Crafts Association in Gardiner announced that Ayumi Horie was the recipient its "2022 MCA Maine Craft Artists Award." Horie is a full-time stu- dio potter based in Portland. Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland announced Margo Walsh, founder and CEO of MaineWorks, as the recipient of the "2022 Forsley Award," named in honor of longtime Gary's House champion Fred Forsley. The University of Maine at Farmington said it was named one of the nation's "most environmentally responsible colleges" by the Princeton Review in its Guide to Green Colleges: 2023 Edition. Leann Cailler, a personal insurance account executive with Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden, earned the Safeco Insurance "Award of Distinction" and was named a pro- ducer of the year for 2022.
