Tomorrow Looks Great From Here The Connecticut Business & Industry Association has named Scott Beaulieu media relations manager. Prior to joining CBIA, Beaulieu worked at NBC Connecticut for nearly 20 years, including more than 15 as a producer and executive producer, earning an Emmy nomination in 2022. Beaulieu, a 2002 UConn grad, will work closely with CBIA's commu- nications and policy teams to execute messaging, outreach and advocacy efforts. Four Connecticut residents have been elected to the board of directors of the Connecticut Conven- tion & Sports Bureau (CTmeetings) for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Jorge Cabrera (D-Hamden) • Jan Louise Jones, hospitality and tourism management program coordinator and professor at the Univer- sity of New Haven • Cian Stein, execu- tive vice president of the Hartford Health- Care Amphitheatre in Bridgeport Windsor website development company Hosting Connecticut LLC has hired Sara Seagrave as a sales manager, where she will be responsible for building relationships within the small business community of Greater Hartford and beyond. Before Hosting Connecticut, Seagrave worked in digital media and advertising for companies such as Gannett, LocallQ, Tenga, Cars. com and the Tribune. New Britain CPA firm Mugford & DiBella LLC has made three recent hires including a new staff accountant, Michon Hunt, and bookkeepers, Tina Carter and Carol Lang. Hunt holds an MBA and accounting degree from Central Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Mugford & DiBella, Hunt was a staff tax accountant with a regional firm in Connecticut and a tax, accounting and investment planning firm in Florida. Lang brings over 15 years of bookkeeping experience to the firm. Carter has over 12 years of bookkeeping experience including multistate payroll administration and internal auditing. Newtown-based the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement charitable nonprofit has named Claas Ehlers to its newly-created CEO role. Choose Love's founder, Scarlett Lewis, will continue to serve as the chief movement officer. The CEO role is a critical step in Choose Love's plans to increase impact, and Ehlers was selected after an extensive national search. Ehlers comes to Choose Love after serving as CEO of Family Promise, a national federated nonprofit addressing family homelessness. The charity is named after Jesse Lewis, a six-year-old first grader who was a victim of the Sandy Hook tragedy. The Choose Love programs offer no-cost social and emotional learning and character development programs. JDRF, a global organization funding Type 1 diabetes research, has elected Lou Gianquinto to its chapter board of directors. Gianquinto began his two-year term on Sept. 21. Gianquinto is the president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut. Hartford nonprofit Operation Fuel has named Andrea Taylor as its new finance director and Kenya Van Eyken as its director of energy programs. Taylor, who lives in Bloomfield, is responsible for all of Operation Fuel's financial operations. Taylor gradu- ated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting/management. Van Eyken, who lives in Bristol, oversees Operation Fuel's energy assistance programs and staff along with its fuel bank network. Van Eyken attended St. Augustine's University.
