Ken Albert, president and CEO of Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice in Lewiston, was appointed to serve on the National Hospice Special Focus Program Technical Expert Panel. Camden National Corp., parent com- pany of Camden National Bank, added Rebecca Hatfield as a director and a member of the capi- tal committee of the bank's board of directors. Hatfield is president and CEO of Avesta Housing. [ A C H I E V E M E N T S ] Maine Medical Center in Portland said its nursing team earned the American Nurses Credential Center Magnet Recognition, the gold standard for nursing quality, recognizing health care organizations that both demon- strate nursing excellence and dis- seminate successful nursing practices status, for a fourth consecutive time. Amee Rice, a senior account manager at Clark Insurance in Portland, was honored with the "2022 Award of Excellence" designation from Safeco Insurance Co. The University of Maine at Farmington announced that it received a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 from Campus Pride, an LGBTQ national benchmarking tool for colleges and universities to create safer, more inclusive campus communities. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine's HMO/POS plan was rated 4.5 out of 5 in the National Committee for Quality Assurance's commercial Health Plan Ratings for 2022.
