Cindy Panioto has been promoted to the role of director of operations and advocacy, where she will focus on the overall operations of the 6,000-plus member organization through technology enhance- ments and organiza- tional evolution, as well as contributing to advocacy for the profession across Connecticut. Panioto joined CTCPA in 2018 as its membership and business devel- opment director, after serving for 27 years as the conference and events manager at the Connecticut Business & Industry Association. Jennifer Cooley-Brewer has joined CTCPA as its new member- ship and business development director. Cooley-Brewer spent the last seven years as a marketing consultant taking on projects for small businesses and nonprofits. Attorney Lee D. Hoffman has been elected chairman of law firm Pullman & Comley, succeeding James T. "Tim" Shearin in the role. Shearin will continue as a member of the firm's litigation depart- ment, and as vice pres- ident of the Connecticut Bar Association. Pullman & Comley has offices in Bridgeport, Hartford, Waterbury and Westport, along with Springfield, Massachusetts; Wakefield, Rhode Island; and White Plains, New York. KeyBank recently announced that Lee C. Foo has joined the bank as regional cash management advisor in Connecticut. Foo, a Milford resident, will partner with KeyBank's busi- ness banking teams to deliver cash manage- ment services to business clients. Foo has more than 15 years of experience in financial services. He most recently worked for Guilford Savings Bank as a cash management officer focused on stra- tegic initiatives, sales strategies and developing business. His career also includes working for Citizens Bank and Bank of America. The Connecticut Bar Associ- ation has hired David Nunner as its new director of diversity and human resources. Nunner joins the CBA from Webster Bank, where he worked in the human resources department. His experi- ence included creating and facilitating all DE&I workshops and coaching and developing for all new hires. Nunner also helped create and build all DE&I employee resource groups. Nunner is board of directors pres- ident for Connecticut Theatre Co. in New Britain. The Governor's Prevention Part- nership has elected Joe Brennan as co-chair of the organization's board of directors. Brennan is the immediate past president and CEO of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association. He has served on the Partnership's board since 2005 and previously served as the organization's treasurer. Brennan will serve as co-chair alongside Gov. Ned Lamont. Brennan succeeds Leigh Walton, the vice president of global govern- ment affairs for Pitney Bowes, as co-chair. Vernon law firm Kahan Kerensky Capossela has hired Meaghan Collins as a law clerk. Collins graduated from Western New England University School of Law in May and will be working in multiple departments at the firm. Russell Baboff has joined Thom- aston Savings Bank as a mortgage loan officer. Russell is the fifth mortgage loan officer on Thomaston's team.
