What happens after that is anyone's guess. Aetna has been one of many corpora- tions in Hartford to embrace remote and hybrid work amid the pandemic. WILLIAM FISH JR. William Fish Jr. is the lead Connecticut attorney for St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in the care provider's well-publicized lawsuit against Hartford HealthCare and its subsidiaries – including Hartford Hospital. The lawsuit claims Hartford HealthCare has tried to create a monopoly on hospital services by ac- quiring physician networks and demand- ing they refer patients only to Hartford HealthCare facilities. The 75-page lawsuit, filed in federal court in January 2022, accuses HHC of trying to "bury" and "crush" St. Francis. HHC, which has denied the allegations, asked the judge to dismiss the case in February, arguing that it had not violated antitrust laws and that St. Francis was outcompeted for physicians. The lawsuit is still pending but could have significant implications on the state's healthcare system, which has undergone significant consolidation over the last decade, raising concerns about Amanda Gorman William Fish Jr. Karen Lynch Kyle Armbrester For a Mayo Clinic second opinion, I'm not going anywhere.
