I am looking forward to all that I can accomplish in my new role moving forward!" Sarah O'Brien is a project development administrator working with the grants team at MassMEP. She works internally with MassMEP's project development managers and business development advisors, as well as with external clients to help apply for state-funded grants within Massachusetts to assist with the funding of trainings for their companies. She started with MassMEP in March of 2021 as an administrative coordinator and after a year, moved on to the project development role. Kathie Mahoney is president of the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership. Kathie began her MEP career here in 1999 and was coached and mentored by MassMEP's forward-looking founder, Jack Healy. In her MEP career, she has held several positions culminating as the center director in 2017 until she transferred to the RI MEP Center, Polaris MEP, to serve as its center director.. She is recognized as a next generation leader among her peers throughout the National MEP Network where she serves on the National Institutes of Standards and Technology MEP Center Leadership Team, the advisors to the federal administrators. Kathie brings with her years of manufacturing experience and skills in leadership, management, strategic planning and project management.
