As an organization, we are building capacity in diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) strategies and partnerships to advance toward this goal. To achieve this overall goal throughout the coming year we are focusing our efforts on: 1. Working with teacher leaders to design integrated computer science learning opportunities K-12. 2. Building partnerships with BIPOC communities. 3. Expanding our reach from just over 1,000 educators per year to over 2,000 educators this coming year. 4. Increasing in-school science professional learning – doubling our capacity to meet the needs of school districts. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES Are you interested in supporting the next generation of Maine's STEM innovators? Support Maine Youth STEM competitions: Sponsors of the Maine State Science Fair, Middle School Science Fair and Destination Imagination will serve a key role in encouraging the next generation of scientists and STEM innovators to pursue their ambitions in high school and beyond. Play a part in these celebrations of Maine high school and middle school STEM innovation! 30th anniversary events: Sponsorship opportunities are available for our 30th anniversary events including: � Regional meet ups with educators – STEM drinks, Fall 2022 � MMSA's Teacher Leadership Institute, Spring 2023 GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Annual Fund Donations: MMSA accepts donations year-round on our website. Donors can make a one-time donation or set up an ongoing donation. Educator scholarships and school- wide customized STEM professional learning: Help us create scholarships and reduced cost professional learning opportunities for educators that work with high need students. ese sponsorships can be targeted to serve specific regions.
