As a nonprofit, we also rely on the generosity of individual donors, businesses, private foundations and state and federal agencies to support the ever-growing and continuous needs impacting the health and wellness of our patients, friends and family. In the coming year, our fundraising efforts will focus on: � Compassionate caregiving and respite for hospice patients and their families during life's final transition � Expanded cancer treatment and research trial capacity � Increased patient access to telehealth services and remote patient monitoring � Providing support to our inpatient and outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services � State-of-the-art surgical technology � Annual scholarships for local students pursuing degrees in health care disciplines. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES � MaineGeneral's Day of Hope. We invite businesses and donors to rally around our cancer community every October at our annual Day of Hope in Augusta. ere are many ways to get involved, including sponsorship opportunities, attending the day, creating or joining a Walk for Hope team, being a fundraiser, donating and/or volunteering!
