WE ARE CATHOLIC CHARITIES. Each day, the employees and volunteers of Catholic Charities Maine come to the aid of the poor and vulnerable of all faiths across the state. We see the faces of people struggling with mental illness, hurt and frightened children, those fallen victim to loneliness and isolation, those battling addictions, anxious refugees, and thousands of others in times of great need. A faith-based, non-profit organization, we have been serving Mainers since 1966. We helped more than 53,000 of our neediest neighbors last year, answering want with generosity and replacing despair with hope. Our 20+ programs serve over 53,000 Mainers statewide: ensured 5,300+ children ate nutritious meals and snacks provided 5,650+ with quality dental & orthodontic care aided 2,300+ seniors and adults with disabilities in living independently provided 3,170+ with translation & interpretation services engaged 1,800+ through our Parish Social Ministry supported 1,130+ with mental health services supported 600+ adults on their recovery journey welcomed and supported 380+ refugees through our resettlement services educated 460+ children through our Child Development Services fed 31,400+ through our Food Bank www.ccmaine.org 1-800-781-8550
