Often, this arrangement allows them to remain with family, while still receiving crucial services. Mental Health Services – Under the guidance of Master's-Level Clinicians, Casa offers outpatient counseling, home- and community-based treatment, and serves as a trusted resource under 211 for the state. In-School Support Services – Casa is proud to support children one-on-one in school settings to help them fully access their education. 2023 GOALS Day Treatment Expansion – Casa continues to see tremendous success supporting children through certified Behavioral Health Professionals – one-on-one, in public schools and under supervision of Master's-Level Clinicians. In-Home Suppor t and Innovative Housing – Casa is known for expertly managing complex needs that necessitate both medical and behavioral supports. Now, honoring our mission to help individuals develop and maintain whole health and fulfilling lives, Casa looks to further develop and innovate its living models to fully support the individual, while leveraging the social and cognitive benefits of group living. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES 2023 Casa Charity Classic – For three years now, Casa has chosen to not hold this annual event due to COVID-19. Our largest fundraiser has always been a spectacular collection of leaders from the health care, banking and insurance sectors gathering for a day of good golf, great food and exceptional support. Email golf@casamaine.org for more information. Kippie's 5K – Again, due to COVID- 19, this annual event has been on hold, and many look forward to its return. It began as a way to honor a dear resident who passed, and his parents who remain some of our most beloved friends and supporters. Whether you're looking to log a time on a flat, well-marked course or just want some laughs and exercise on a Saturday morning, this 5K is for you. e 2023 date is TBD and may be a virtual or combination event. WHO WE ARE Casa has served children and adults in Southern Maine since 1979. Our expertise has always been supporting individuals who are both medically fragile and who have other cognitive disabilities. Intermediate Nursing Facility – Casa's first home was an eight-bed facility for children in Maine institutions needing to return to neighborhood settings where they originally resided. Today, a state- of-the-art, 16-bed home on the same Scarborough parcel continues to provide exceptional warmth and opportunity for our most medically fragile. Adult Residential Care – With several homes in Greater Portland, Casa excels at providing small group settings that promote growth and independence.
