Rollins, who has more than 11 years of experience in financial service oper- ations, quality control and consumer loan products, will focus on consumer and real estate originations, collections, process improvement, automation and loan reporting. Rollins most recently served as loan administration officer for Justice Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C. The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine in Farmington has announced that scientist Eric Wang has joined the faculty as an assistant professor with the goal of devising new strategies to overcome the development of drug resistance in cancer. Wang earned his Ph.D. at the Sackler Institute of Biomedical Science at New York University and joins the Jackson faculty from a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Omar Abdel- Wahab, director of Memorial Sloan Kettering's Center for Hematologic Malignancies. The Connecticut Data Collaborative has added two data specialists to its growing staff. Niq Toliver has joined the CTData team as civic tech developer. Toliver brings years of experience in soft- ware engineering, leadership, and organization. She will be overseeing technologies to make information more readily available to the public. Newly-hired Data Engagement Specialist Jackie Vancour will be designing and instructing public and custom workshops designed to increase data literacy. Middletown-based Liberty Bank recently made two senior executive hires: Harry Gunsallus and Amy Apuzzo. Gunsallus has been named senior vice president, digital strategy officer and chief operating officer of digital banking. He will oversee digital strategy, build and maintain fintech partnerships and develop products and services to support Liberty's soon-to-be- launched, standalone digital bank. Most recently, Gunsallus was with BankSouth in Georgia where he served as chief innovation officer. Apuzzo was hired as vice president and digital marketing manager.
