FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES POST-PANDEMIC: School and faculty continue to offer flexible learning options. A mix of on-site and remote lessons and classes has allowed students to continue the all-important teacher-student relationship without interruption. Remote teaching carts, now housed in music studios, remain part of ongoing options, offering greater accessibility locally and regionally. Families with limited at-home technology can also use the carts on-site when a teacher is off-site. Early childhood classes are using larger inside spaces to allow family pods. Student performances, a hallmark of our commitment to excellence, are gradually returning from remote to in-person, all of which has allowed continued community connection, learning, and sharing. Both faculty and parents are increasingly aware of the benefits of music for mental-health. "As a pianist, educator, and long-time community arts advocate, it is my honor to lead the board of Pakachoag Music School as we enter the School's 40th anniversary year. Following our move to Worcester in 2018, we're focused on advancing the School's long-standing reputation for excellence, while creating more equal access to out-of-school arts. From our new teaching studios and performance hall to Worcester venues and partners, such as Elm Park School, Boys and Girls Club of Worcester and others, we are thrilled to be playing an energetic role in the evolution of Worcester as a creative city." – Kallin Johnson, Board President We accept donations to the Annual Harmony Fund throughout the year. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and can be made online via PakMusic.org at "Donate Now." As the annual fund grows, so also does our ability to reach more students in need through the School's new Music Matters program. A gift of $100 to $10,000 to the Music Matters Program brings music instruction to students in need. This includes fully free after-school, off-site small group music classes, as well as financial aid for traditional programs and the all-new Quinsigamond Youth Theatrical Company. Your gift supports every student in experiencing music success, as we work to inspire ongoing music learning for enjoyment and life-long health and well-being. With a gift of $500 to $1500, you can Sponsor-A-Student. Gifts allow a child or teen of low-income to experience the thrill of becoming a musician. Each student receives up to 40 weeks annually of one- on-one instruction, accompanied by at-home practice, under the tutelage of one of the School's 30 teaching artists.
