Drummond Woodsum, a law firm in Portland, announced that six of the firm's practices and 17 of its Maine- based attorneys were ranked among the top three tiers in the 2022 Chambers USA Guide. Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden said that Deb McDonald, a member of its business insur- ance team, earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. The Maine Hospital Association selected Nirav Shah, director of the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as its "MHA Caregiver of the Year" award winner. Preti Flaherty, a law firm in Portland, announced that six of the firm's practices and 13 of its Maine-based attorneys were ranked among the top three tiers in the 2022 Chambers USA Guide. The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce selected Bombshell Salon in Presque Isle as its "May Customer Service Award" winner. Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington announced that it was awarded a three- year term of accreditation in magnetic resonance imaging after a review by the American College of Radiology. In addition, Taylor Harris, a speech-language pathologist, earned three certifications: one as a modified barium swallow impairment profile clinician, another as a certified dementia practitioner and as a Speak Out! clinician through the Parkinson's Voice Project. Norway Savings Bank said it earned the "2022 Best Place for Working Parents" designation. Additionally, the bank announced Brian Bernier, vice president and investment officer for Norway Savings Asset Management Group, earned the Certified Financial Planner certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Charlie Berg, videographer at MaineHealth in Portland, won a "Regional Emmy Award" for a video entitled "Inside View of Maine Medical Center ICU Nurses Caring for Unvaccinated COVID-19 Patients" that was viewed on YouTube page and other hospital social media channels. Original Coconola by Grandy Organics in Hiram was named "Retail Best in Show" at the Maine Golden Fork Awards. Alder Smoked American Eel by American Unagi in Waldoboro won "Foodservice Best in Show" and Middle East Coast Labneh by Shovel and Spoon in Limington was "Best New Product." Verrill, a law firm in Portland, announced that 11 of the firm's practices and 22 of its Maine-based attorneys were ranked among the top three tiers in the 2022 Chambers USA Guide.
