Wirth has been with ARI since 2009 and serves small businesses, including engineering firms, restaurant owners, manufacturers, recreation venues and contractors, among others. Boyle is a certified public accountant with nearly three decades of accounting and auditing experience. She provides CFO-level expertise to multiple local nonprofit organizations. Nancy Nesbitt has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of East Hartford-based AccuBranch, which offers consulting services to banks on their branch locations. She takes over the position from the retiring Jay Fisher. Since joining AccuBranch in early 2021, Nesbitt has led the expansion of AccuBranch service offerings, increased its marketing and trade show presence, and refreshed the company's logo and website. The YMCA of Greater Hartford has elected its new board of directors leadership team. It includes: Board Chair Peter Olson, CBRE; Jim McGrath, UnitedHealthcare; and Dr. Reggy Eadie, Trinity Health Of New England. The YMCA also named these new members to its board: Cora Hall, Travelers; James Martin, Barnum Premier Client Group; and James Michel, Access Health CT. Hartford law firm Murtha Cullina LLP has hired Michael G. Curley as an associate in the firm's trusts and estates department. Curley advises clients on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directive documents, as well as legal counsel related to estate planning and probate law. Prior to joining Murtha Cullina, he was a social worker with the Department of Children and Families and chief legal counsel of the Office of Early Childhood. Comcast has named Danelle Danemark vice president of human resources for its western New England region, which is headquartered in Berlin. Danemark will oversee the region's HR functions, including talent management, career development and training; benefits; and employee engagement and recognition. Previously, Danemark was senior director of human resources and business partner for Comcast's sales and marketing organization across the Northeast. Connecticut Public has named Catalina Samper-Horak to its board of trustees, and Abigail Wattley as a non-trustee member of the board's investment committee. Samper-Horak is an experienced nonprofit executive, including founder and first executive director of Building One Community based in Stamford. Additionally she is on the board of Americares Free Clinic and the investment committee of Social Venture Partners-CT. Wattley is currently the deputy chief investment officer for Williams College. Hartford healthcare company CareCentrix has named longtime health plan executive and physician Dr. Carmella Sebastian chief medical officer. Sebastian most recently served as vice president of clinical operations at Oscar Health, and before that, held leadership roles at Florida Blue, Humana, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Northeastern Pennsylvania. In her role at CareCentrix, Sebastian will guide the organization's clinical strategy and operations. Timothy Bergstrom, regional president and head of business banking in Connecticut for Webster Bank, has been named board chairman of the Community Investment Corp., an economic development SBA lender. Bergstrom has been on CIC's board for the last 12 years. He's been at Webster Bank for 25 years and is currently responsible for Webster's business banking operation in its core Connecticut markets.
