Getz, a certified public accountant, spent 12 years at BioTelemetry Inc., a publicly-traded remote medical technology company, where, among other roles, she served as executive vice president and chief financial and administrative officer. Getz has also had financial leadership positions at companies such as Alita Pharmaceuticals, VIASYS Healthcare and Sunoco. Union Savings Bank promotes new executive vice president Union Savings Bank, which is headquartered in Danbury, recently promoted Jeff McDonough to executive vice president, human resources and community relations. McDonough will join the bank's executive management committee e company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlas Filtri, a leading manufacturer of sustainable water purification products based in Limena, Italy. Santos has served as chief operating officer at Atlas Filtri North America since 2019. He previously worked at Parker Hannifin as director of global sales and business processes. In his new role, Santos will oversee Atlas Filtri's growth in the water purification market in the North American region. University of Bridgeport announces new CFO e University of Bridgeport has named William Guerrero to serve as its vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Guerrero will be responsible for managing the financial stability of the university, and he will report directly to President Danielle Wilken. Guerrero has more than two decades of financial leadership in higher education, and he most recently worked for Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., where he served as vice president for finance and administration. He previously had finance roles at Ithaca College and Albertus Magnus College. and continue to serve on its management council. McDonough has 37 years of experience in human resources in both the healthcare and banking industries. He joined Union Savings in 2015 as senior vice president, director of human resources. Wellinks selects new chief medical officer New Haven-based Wellinks recently picked Dr. Abi Sundaramoorthy to serve as the company's new chief medical officer. Sundaramoorthy will help shape the company's clinical strategic direction and development and deployment of Wellinks' products. She will also be responsible for leading the medical staff and care teams, managing quality goals and supporting ongoing business and clinical development efforts. Sundaramoorthy previously served as system clinical value officer and chief medical officer in the University Hospitals Health System in Ohio. Wallingford's Atlas Filtri picks new CEO Wallingford-based Atlas Filtri North America has named Alvaro Santos as its new CEO. Connex Credit Union hires new CFO, VP of finance Connex Credit Union has hired David Birkins to serve as its new chief financial officer and vice president of finance. Birkins joined North Haven-based Connex on March 28. He reports directly to President and CEO Frank Mancini. Birkins is responsible for managing the accounting and finance, indirect lending, compliance and collections departments. Birkins most recently served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank. Quinnipiac gets new dean for School of Computing and Engineering Taskin Kocak has been appointed dean of the School of Computing and Engineering at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. Kocak also will serve as a professor of computer science. He is currently dean of the Dr. Robert A. Savoie College of Engineering and a professor in computer and electrical engineering at the University of New Orleans.
