The Maine Community Foundation in Ellsworth hired Deborah Ellwood as president and CEO. Ellwood previously led CFLeads, the country's network of community foundations, working together to increase their effectiveness and impact. Northern Light Surgery and Trauma in Bangor hired Avian Chang as surgeon. Chang specializes in the management of patients with multi-system traumatic injuries, those who need emergency general surgical services and the manage- ment of critically ill surgical patients in the ICU. Burgess Advertising & Marketing in Falmouth hired Leigh Davidson Miller as digital and media strategy director and Charlie Clement as brand strategist and creative director. Coastal Enterprises Inc. in Brunswick hired Isalita Seixas as a junior accountant and Lara Decker as fund accountant with the firm's account- ing team. Seixas was most recently the bookkeeping specialist for e Healing Community Medco LLC in Lewiston while Decker was parks and recreation director for the town of Bristol. The Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals in South Windham hired Manuela Arundel as advancement director. Arundel was previously development director with Frannie Peabody Center. Synergent, a credit union solutions and technology firm in Westbrook, hired Tyler Hudson as vice presi- dent of software delivery.
