McKaveney has 21 years of public and private accounting experience providing expertise in accounting, audit and business consulting. Previously, McKaveney served as senior manager in the attest department, where she managed the attest work for numerous clients, working closely with the engagement partners to identify risks and develop the firm's audit approach. In her new role, McKaveney has overall responsibility for work performed on client attest engagements. Bethany manufacturer LATICRETE said it has elected Jerry Perkins as the newest member of its board of directors. Formerly the president of Henkel North and South America, Perkins also led Henkel's global general industry adhesive business unit. Turkessa Antrum, senior vice president for human resources, was appointed as CHR's first chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. Ngina McMillian has joined CHR as the DE&I director, bringing with her more than 20 years of relevant experience from the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection and other state agencies. Penstock Group, a healthcare payment tech company and affiliate of Collinsville-based Goodroot Inc., has promoted Laura Collier from chief operating officer to president. Collier has almost 20 years experience in the healthcare industry. New Britian's Hospital for Special Care's board of directors has welcomed three new members: Selette M. Jemison, Mother Mary Janice Zdunczyk and Tanya Cummings. Jemison is currently a financial advisor at Edward Jones and has held financial, product and leadership roles within the insurance and healthcare industry. Mother Zdunczyk serves as superior general of the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Cummings serves as director of digital experience at Stanley Black & Decker and has extensive experience in digital communications, marketing and e-commerce. Collinsville- based healthcare technology company Goodroot has announced the hiring of Steve Palma as president of medical cost solutions. Steve Palma Hartford social services nonprofit Chrysalis Center Inc. has named Anne Foley and Maisie Russell to its board of directors. Foley, of West Hartford, is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and former undersecretary to the Office of Policy and Management, Health and Human Services Policy and Planning Division. Russell, of West Hartford, is the assistant vice president of corporate tax at Travelers Cos. Inc. and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Hartford where she teaches on corporate state income tax.
