A supermajority of graduate student workers in Clark's Graduate Arts and Sciences and International Development, Community, and Environment programs have signed union authorization cards. e group would be represented by the Worcester- based Teamsters Union Local 170, which is the fih- largest union by membership in Central Massachusetts, according to WBJ's Book of Lists. Hospital for Behavioral Medicine names new CEO e Hospital for Behavioral Medicine in Worcester has named Randall Hines as its new CEO. e 120-bed hospital opened in 2019. Hines holds a Ph.D in mental health counseling from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. He previously served as executive director of KidsPeace Children's Hospital in Pennsylvania, and before that, as CEO of Austin State Hospital. Boxborough apartments sell for $39M Paddock Estates, a 244-unit luxury apartment complex in Boxborough, sold for $39.12 million, according to the Southern Middlesex District Registry of Deeds. It was sold by an entity registered to JPI Cos., the Texas- based real estate developer which built Paddock Estates in 2017. JPI bought the 55-acre property at 1 Paddock Lane in 2015 for $5.9 million, according to the Boxborough assessors' data. On Feb. 10, the apartment community sold to Abacus Capital Group LLC, a New York real estate firm which invests in multi-family properties. Sturbridge brewery plans to reopen pub Feb. 24 Aer a short hiatus, Rapscallion Pub is back in business with plans to reopen at 3 Arnold Road in the Fiskdale area of Sturbridge on Feb. 24. Rapscallion Pub closed in July 2021 aer a plan with a partnering restaurant fell through, and the brewery was unable to meet the food requirements of its liquor license. During the hiatus, the owners focused on expanding their Spencer production facility and renovating the Sturbridge space. e reopening of the pub marks the company's fourth outpost under the Rapscallion name. e official opening date is still forthcoming, but the company has said it hopes to open its doors in a few weeks. Rapscallion began in the fall of 2013, when co-owner Cedric Daniels and his twin brother took over the brewing facility and the taproom at Sturbridge-based Hyland Orchards.
