Uxbridge manufacturer names new president John Biagioni has been hired as the new president of Lampin Corp., a precision component manufacturer based in Uxbridge. Biagoni's appointment came Jan. 27, shortly aer Robin LeClaire announced her retirement from the post. Biagioni is an expert in the analysis and design of IoT-driven smart systems that improve the efficiency of business processes, according to the firm's press release. Before joining Lampin, Biagioni spent a decade serving as the president of Dynisco, a Franklin firm specializing in sensing and polymer test equipment. Grafton Flea Market sells for $1M e Graon Flea Market sold for $1.1 million to the owners of a small convenience store in Worcester, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds. e 13.5-acre parcel, formerly used as an expansive flea market which opened in 1970, was originally listed for sale at $2.2 million in September. It is located at 296 Upton St. and includes a liquor- licensed restaurant space, a storage building, and parking for 250 cars. e buyers in the sale were two entities, both registered to Tam Nguyen and Dung Kim Do of 88 Providence St. in Worcester. e property at 88 Providence St. is known as e Store, a 7,500-square-foot convenience store property purchased by Nguyen and Do for $100,000 in a 2000 land deal. BJ's to acquire distribution centers from supplier Westborough-based retail chain BJ's Wholesale Club is set to acquire four temperature-controlled food distribution centers and their assets from longtime partner Burris Logistics. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. e four distribution centers are located in the following Rocky Hill, Conn., Elkton, Md., Independence, Ky., and Orlando, Fla. Milford apartments sell for $87M Rolling Green Apartments, a 304-unit apartment community in Milford, sold for $87 million to a Boston multi- family investment firm, according to an announcement Dallas-based CBRE Group, Inc. which brokered the deal. e 20-acre complex was sold by Philmor Real Estate Investments, a Brighton-based firm which bought the property in 2017 for $47.6 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds. It is assessed at $12.5 million by the town. e buyer in the sale, which closed Jan. 19, was e DSF Group, a Boston- based firm which specializes in multi- family properties. SALMON sells nursing home in Northbridge e property with Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center and Whitney Place Assisted Living Residences in Northbridge sold for $3.7 million. e three-building property is located at 85 Beaumont Dr. in Northbridge. It has been operated by SALMON Health and Retirement, a Milford-based senior care provider since 1960 when the family-owned business bought the land. e buying entity was registered to the Norwood address of AdviniaCare, a nursing home facility with locations throughout Massachusetts and Florida.
