Appelbaum has experience offering sports medicine care at Worcester State University and the University of Maryland. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. STEVEN RICHARDSON was elected chairman of the board of directors at Charles River Bancorp, MHC, the holding company of Charles River Bank in Medway. Richardson has been a member of the board since 1992 and is the founder and managing shareholder of Richardson & Company, PC, in Medway. Fidelity Bank in Leominster appointed JOHN PACHECO, Jr. as vice president, business development officer for the bank's North Central and Central Massachusetts service areas. Pacheco has been with Fidelity for four years, most recently as manager of the Leominster Connector Banking Center. He attended UMass Amherst and was one of WBJ's 40 Under Forty recipients for the Class of 2021. Dr. TIFFANY SUN joined Worcester physician firm Reliant Medical Group's department of dermatology. Sun received her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and completed her dermatology residency in Boston. Harrington Physician Services welcomed Dr. SORIN HERSCOVICI to its endocrinology and diabetes care practice in Sturbridge. Herscovici has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years and is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He earned his medical degree from the University Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. ROSANNA GARCIA was hired as the Paul R. Beswick Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The Business School at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Garcia was most recently the Walter Koch Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Denver, and she previously held associate professor positions at North Carolina State University and Northeastern University in Boston. She has a PhD in marketing from Michigan State University. Dr. NATALIE GODFREY joined Worcester physician firm Reliant Medical Group's department of orthopedic surgery. She specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery and hand surgery. Godfrey holds a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her residency and fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester. ADAM LOHNES was hired as vice president of commercial lending at bankHometown, which is headquartered in Oxford. Lohnes has more than 14 years of commercial banking experience and was previously a commercial lender at Digital Federal Credit Union in Marlborough. He holds a bachelor's degree in management from UMass Amherst. GFA Federal Credit Union of Gardner promoted BRIAN RUMANOWSKI to commercial lender. He has served as a commercial credit administrator and credit analyst since 2018. Rumanowski attended Westfield State University. FINN YONKERS joined Worcester manufacturer BlueHive Exhibits as executive vice president of creative. With more than 30 years of design experience, Yonkers has won several awards and developed programs for Adobe Systems, Bose, Intel, and General Electric. RUBY VARGAS was appointed vice president, area management, for Fidelity Bank's two Leominster banking centers. Vargas has spent six of her 25 years of experience at Fidelity, most recently serving as the sales and service banking center manager of the Leominster Main Street location.
