Papa took over leadership of the organization on an interim basis following the retirement of longtime president Michael O'Brien. She had previously served as Duncaster's vice president of strategy. Before joining Duncaster in 2019, Papa was the corporate director of learning at Masonicare. Kelly Smith Papa Christopher J. Picard William C. Sherman Connecticut Wealth Management LLC (CTWM) has named Deborah Hopper as its human resources and talent development leader. In the new role, she will help attract and retain talent while guiding the firm through its growth. Before joining CTWM, Hopper owned an HR consulting firm and Deborah Hopper was the HR director at Hartford Golf Club. She also held senior- level HR positions in several large organizations such as Prudential Financial, Cigna, The Hartford and Allstate Insurance Co. Real Art Ways has named Paul Mounds as its newest board member. Mounds is an associate director at Manchester Community College with over 30 years in civil service for the state of Connecticut. He serves on the town of East Hartford Youth Advisory Board, is a member of Kiwanis of Glastonbury and a former board member of the Manchester Community College Foundation. West Hartford's Environmental Systems Corp. (ESC) has hired Ray D'Amato as business development representative for the company's mechanical services group. He brings over 20 years of experience in HVAC and project management to the company. Prior to joining ESC, which helps property owners implement automated building controls for HVAC and other needs, D'Amato spent time working in various areas of the field and in various positions ranging from apprentice to service technician to HVAC supervisor. Ray D'Amato Thomaston Savings Bank recently announced several employee promotions and new roles within the company. Altrin Elmazi was promoted to vice president, information security officer. Whitney Cadett was promoted to vice president, marketing officer. Marilyn Perzan was promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager. Antonella Calabrese was promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager. Cheryl Lindstrom was promoted to assistant vice president, community outreach officer. Marci Neri was promoted to assistant vice president, human resource officer. Renee Russell was promoted to assistant vice president, BSA officer. Picard (as principal) and William C. Sherman (as counsel). Picard's practice centers on handling creditor's rights issues and real estate litigation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. He is expanding his practice to include commercial litigation. His clients have included national banks and servicers along with local lenders.
