What is your advice for women starting
their careers? Always be open to
opportunities, willing to take risks, step up,
and learn new things. Accept assignments
taking you out of your comfort zone,
become a go-to person by developing a
reputation of being knowledgeable, reliable,
and full of integrity.
What is the main thing you attribute your
success to? My career success was built
on being a good team member, always
willing to help even if not my job. When I
was promoted to leadership, I worked to be
sure my teammates knew I fully supported
them, and they always received the credit for
accomplishments.
What is the best way to find work/life
balance? I have been fortunate to have
always enjoyed my work; but at times
family demands may be a priority, and other
times work needs you 110%. Make time for
yourself and have other interests as an outlet
to relieve stress.
