Prior to joining FordHarrison, Dickinson was a shareholder at Littler Mendelson in New Haven. He has over 25 years of legal experience and represents organizations in a range of business sectors, including hospital and health care, financial services, retail, restaurant and hospitality, distribution and logistics, and manufacturing and technology. Massachusetts- based Berkshire Bank has hired Noureddine (Nour) Demnati as a vice president, senior business banking relationship manager. In his role, Demnati will provide services in the metro Hartford and New Haven markets with a focus on new business origination, management of business banking relationships, and building connections in the market. Prior to joining Berkshire Bank, Demnati served business clients with Bank of America, Santander, Citizens Bank and Citibank. He will be based in Hartford, covering parts of northern and southern Connecticut. The Hoffman Auto Group has appointed Sara Scribner as marketing manager of the company's 10 automobile dealerships, two collision centers and one insurance agency. Scribner, a 2011 UConn graduate, is the youngest to lead in this position in company history and will have the primary responsibility for developing and implementing the marketing strategy to meet business objectives as well as overseeing all promotional activities. Scribner previously was the special projects coordinator for Hoffman Auto Group. Hartford law firm Shipman & Goodwin LLP has hired Mac Daly as an associate in the firm's real estate, environmental, land use and construction practice group. Daly has worked with a variety of clients including developers, owners of all property types, and municipalities and schools. He has experience with entity formation, commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, apartment and condominium developments and joint ventures. Prior to joining Shipman, Daly was an associate at a boutique commercial real estate law firm. Movers & Shakers Two industry veterans Cushman & Wakefield hired for its retail brokerage team will work from the firm's Hartford office while covering New England and New York, including Westchester County and the Hudson Valley to greater Albany. Tim McNamara has joined the firm as senior director and Kevin Daly as director. They will focus on tenant and landlord representation, Cushman & Wakefield said. McNamara and Daly join the firm from SullivanHayes Cos. Northeast LLC of Farmington. Mac Daly Tim McNamara Gaylord Specialty Healthcare recently named Roslyn Gilhuly as its associate vice president of development operations and campaign initiatives. Gilhuly is responsible for developing and implementing campaign strategies that lead to Gaylord's philanthropic growth. A Wallingford resident, Gilhuly has more than 25 years of experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, communications, public relations, event planning, logistical support and corporate relationship building. Prior to Gaylord, Gilhuly held leadership roles at Mystic Aquarium. Torrington Savings Bank has added two new officers, Edward J. "E.J." D'Ettore and Ryan Lynch, to its commercial banking team. D'Ettore joins the bank as vice president, commercial lending. In his role he will be focused on new business development and managing a commercial portfolio. He has over 15 years of experience in commercial lending at both the community and national bank levels. Lynch joins the bank as vice president, commercial credit manager. He has nearly 20 years of experience in banking, including stints at Westfield Bank, People's United Bank and Farmington Bank. He will serve as chair-elect throughout the coming year, moving into the board chair position in Sept. 2022. Dickinson Sara Scribner Noureddine Demnati The Connecticut Green Bank has appointed Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick to its board of directors. Hoydick has served as the first woman mayor of Stratford since 2017, after previously serving in the state House of Representatives. While she was a state lawmaker, Hoydick was a ranking member on the Energy and Technology Committee. As mayor, her town also added five solar arrays to public buildings, brought in textile recycling and solar compacting trash and recycling receptacles. Avon-based Paragon Insurance Holdings LLC, a nationwide multiline specialty managing general agent, has named Duffy Koller as president of its newly created casualty excess and surplus practice. The practice plans to begin underwriting primary and excess casualty coverage by the first quarter of 2022. Classes of targeted business will include construction, manufacturing and distribution, and premises liability on a primary and excess basis. Koller joins Paragon from AmTrust.
