Betts, who has been with the firm for 14 years, is a licensed professional engineer with a specialty in residential land use and commercial development Rinck Advertising, a marketing agency in Lewiston, pro- moted Nikki Jarvais to senior vice president, group account director. Jarvais was previ- ously senior account manager. Geiger, a promotional products distributor in Lewiston, promoted Chelsea Whitlock to packaging and quality control in the decoration and distribution center for Geiger Winter People. Whitlock was most recently a kitting fulfillment specialist. Norway Savings Bank promoted Penny Anderson to market manager and mort- gage loan officer in Topsham and Brunswick. Skowhegan Savings promoted Haley Wescott to community banker in the central Maine region based out of its Fairfield branch. Previously, Wescott was a loan processor. Verrill, a law firm in Portland, pro- moted Robert Wright to director of office operations. Wright, who has 20 years of experience serving in leader- ship roles, was previously the firm's legal services manager. NBT Bank in Portland pro- moted Senior Vice President Jeremy Deering to regional commercial bank- ing manager. Deering, who has 20 years of experience in commercial banking, was previously senior com- mercial banking relationship manager. [ A P P O I N T M E N T S ] The Institute for Family-Owned Business in Portland elected Jacques Santucci, pres- ident and founder of Opus Consulting, as treasurer and Joe Capozza III, vice presi- dent of Capozza Floor Covering Center, as secretary of its board of directors. In addition, the organization added Chris Lynch, Deirdre Wadsworth and Shae-Li Fendler as board members. Lynch is president, Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty; Wadsworth is president, Hardypond Construction; and Fendler is manager/underwriting ana- lyst, MEMIC. The Maine Municipal Association in Augusta selected James Bennett, city manager of Biddeford, as incoming president and Elaine Aloes, selectboard chair in Solon, as vice president of its executive committee in 2022. American Heart Association in Maine selected Steve deCastro, president and CEO of Gorham Savings Bank, to lead the 2022 Heart Walk. DeCastro and his committee have set a goal to raise $450,000 through corporate dona- tions and walk teams that will support the event scheduled for May 15, 2022 in Portland.
