Our focus areas include: f Covid-19 response – continuing to provide resources to those impacted by the pandemic. f Food security – offering nourish- ment and nutritional information to strengthen families and communities. f Telehealth – enhancing our long- standing services to Maine's unbridged island residents. f Education – providing youth develop- ment opportunities and scholarships. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES e Mission provides several opportuni- ties to provide financial support which benefits the communities we serve: families we serve in our coastal and island communities. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES f Downeast: Christmas Program, hous- ing rehabilitation summer volunteers, community meal preparation at Cher- ryfield campus, food deliveries to seniors, summer youth camps, mentoring high school students in the Journey program. f Mount Desert Island: Christmas Program, Events. f Islands: Beach clean-up opportunities.
