Ignite PI is a nontraditional approach to serving the community in an innovative and creative way with the intent to revitalize the downtown of the Star City. We strive to provide all of the benefits of a service-based nonprofit and restore the iconic Northeastland Hotel featuring our new Innovation Center. Our co-workspace fosters innovation and cultivates the next generation of entrepreneurs. is is our inaugural project and storefront space which strives to achieve the most inno- vative business model in New England. Inaugural goals include: f Create and implement a sustainable nonprofit infrastructure. f Acquire and renovate the iconic Northeastland Hotel. f Create a workspace that is the entre- preneurial nexus of the Star City. f Implement a path forward for new business attraction, community devel- opment, and entrepreneurial support. f Operate the Northeastland Hotel with a tax paying model with the unique purpose of dedicating revenue to our nonprofit mission. This awards program honors recipients for their creative approaches to advancing regional economic development and improved quality of life. MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to inspire community revitalization and innovation by promoting entrepreneurship in Presque Isle. We've created a non-traditional approach to serving the community in an innovative and creative way. We're bringing together a service based nonprofit and restoring the iconic Northeastland Hotel to help the revitalization of the downtown. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES We have diverse opportunities for indi- viduals and businesses to give their gift of time and talent to help move our mission forward. Volunteer groups can assist in a variety of ways from serving at community events, preparing, serving for special holiday events, and beautifying our site. e range of volunteer opportunities is vast from guest speakers for our speaker series, business mentors and coaches, donation of business services, and site beautification.
