Wohn will report to Global CEO Carl Elsener, the great-great-grandson of the inventor of the Swiss Army Knife, company founder Karl Elsener I. e company is also well-known for its cutlery, watches, travel gear and fragrances. Wohn most recently served as managing director of Bang & Olufsen North America. Hyperfine names new CFO Guilford's Hyperfine Inc. has named Alok Gupta as its chief finan- cial officer. With his background in finance, manufac- turing systems and mechanical engineer- ing, Gupta will oversee Hyperfine's strategic financial initiatives. Prior to Hyperfine, Gupta served as the chief strategy officer and CFO at Halio Inc., a smart glass technology company. FuelCell Energy names governance expert to board FuelCell Energy Inc. of Danbury has named investment veteran Donna Sims Wilson to its board of directors. Sims Wilson will serve as an indepen- dent director at FuelCell, a global manu- facturer of fuel cell technology. She will be a member of the board's nominating and corporate governance and audit and finance committees. Sims Wilson is cur- rently chief operating officer of Kah Capital Management, an alternative asset manage- ment firm. Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder expands litigation team Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder has hired two new attorneys: Kelly Fitzpatrick and Douglas P. Morabito, a longtime federal prosecutor. Fitzpatrick will focus on cases on behalf of plaintiffs injured by medical malpractice, pharmaceuticals or medical devices. She has more than a decade of experience practicing law and has served on the plaintiff 's steering committee in Viagra and Cialis product liability litigation. Morabito, a former Assistant U.S. Attor- ney with more than 20 years' experience, has handled both civil and criminal matters at the trial and appellate courts. He will focus on medical malpractice and product liability in both the state and federal courts. Union Savings names longtime banker to executive role Allison Knapp recently joined Dan- bury-based Union Savings Bank as vice president and senior commercial lender. Knapp, a Milford resident, will be responsible for developing and handling commercial real estate and business loan transactions through- out Connecticut and Westchester County. Knapp has over 25 years of experience in business, real estate, construction and syndicated lending. Prior to joining USB, Knapp served as senior vice president and producing team leader at Fairfield County Bank in Fairfield. New Haven biopharma appoints two executives Trevi erapeutics Inc., a New Hav- en-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has named Lisa Delfini as chief financial officer and Danine Summers as vice president, medical affairs. Delfini will lead the company's accounting and finance operations. Summers will be re- sponsible for educating the medical community on its product data and development programs. Bioasis Technologies Inc. names new preclinical program manager Bioasis Technologies Inc., a New Ha- ven-based biotech, has a new preclinical program manager. Jeffrey Sprouse brings over 20 years of drug discovery experience to his new role at Bioasis, which is focused on treating central nervous system disorders. Sprouse was trained as a neuropharma- cologist, and he has had leadership roles at companies such as Pfizer. Amphenol Corp. appoints new board member Wallingford manufacturer Amphenol Corp. recently appointed Nancy Altobello to serve on its board of directors. With her appointment, the size of the company's board has increased to 10 members. Altobello, a CPA, has more than three decades of global audit and talent management experience, including serving as global vice chair, talent at Ernst & Young. Pierce Lab appoints new lab director, board president e John B. Pierce Laboratory, a nonprofit, independent research institute affiliated with Yale University, recently named a new laborato- ry director and the first female president of its board of directors. Dr. John Geibel, who has served on the laboratory's board, is its new director. Geibel is professor emeritus of surgery and cellular and molecular physiology at Yale University School of Medicine. Margaret Penny Mason, who has served on the board for several years, is its new president.
