FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES POST-PANDEMIC: 2020 was a year marked by the worst pandemic the world has seen in over a century. While we are still working through the ripples of disruption it caused, Kennedy Community Health was quick to meet the moment by pivoting our operations on a dime and work to continue to make the necessary adjustments to be poised and ready to serve and protect our community. Our top priority is and has always been to keep access to care open and equitable. We transitioned to telehealth within 24 hours to keep patients and staff safe early in the pandemic, and while in-person visits have returned to a more normal pace, we anticipate that we will continue to use telehealth as a platform going forward, as it has been proven to provide a high level of patient satisfaction. As we continue to work through the pandemic and beyond, our focus will remain steadfast on addressing health inequities, both in our community as well as systemically, to provide a healthier and more equitable future for all. The Kennedy Community Health mission connects to my passion for health equity and my values, which include excellence, wellbeing, and justice. Since its founding, the Health Center has maintained a steadfast commitment to providing quality health care for the people who live and work in our community. Despite the crises, personal and community loss and racial unrest that we all experienced this past year, Kennedy Community Health seized the moment by reimaging, restructuring and rebuilding operations to respectfully meet the needs of our patients and the community with equity. – Valerie Zolezzi-Wydham, Board Chair Kennedy Community Health welcomes donations of any kind year- round.
