Since becoming a 40 Under Forty honoree in 2006, Kelly
Kennedy has moved on from her role as Vice President of
Business Development at Drake Beam Morin to Undergraduate
Career Education, Professional Development and Outreach
at UConn School of Business. In the Office of Undergraduate
Programs Kelly oversees all career education for the business
school's four campuses. Her main focus is to create industry
immersion programming by partnering with organizations
for our students to develop a professional skillset that is most
relevant to their future careers.
"During the last 13 years at UConn I am
proud to say I have taught and coached
over 8,500 enthusiastic students in finding
their first internship and securing their first
job." says Kennedy "I am honored to work with
our talented business students by crafting their
career plans to influence the world of business. It
is important to me to see our alumni graduate with a
robust toolkit to gain meaningful work or focus on the
development of their own innovative startup companies."
