(Order based on sales date) W h a t ' s T h e D e a l ? 15 Colton Road of New Canaan, state records show. e buyer was represented by Hitomi Batista of Dave Jones Realty. e property was built in 1910 and renovated in 1985. East Lyme industrial building sells for $700,000 An industrial building in East Lyme has sold for $700,000, according to the deal's broker. e 5,795-square-foot property at 15 Colton Road sold recently to Zanadu LLC, town records show. e seller was Peter and Sandra Silveira, town records show. e property was built in 1972. Tim McMahon of O,R&L Commercial represented the seller and Norm Peck of Pequot Commercial represented the buyer. Gaylord Hospital expanding North Haven footprint Gaylord Hospital Inc. is expanding its presence in a North Haven office building. Gaylord — a rehabilitation-focused, nonprofit health system — extended its current lease and added an extra 12,723 square feet at the Crossroads Medical Center located at 8 Devine St. e 46,196-square-foot building is owned by the Healthcare Trust of America in Arizona. Other tenants in the building include Yale Sleep Medicine and Healthtrax. e deal was brokered by O,R&L Commercial LLC's J. Richard Lee. Old Saybrook shopping plaza sells for $6.75M A tenant in a large shopping center in Old Saybrook has purchased the plaza for $6.75 million. e Shoppes at Old Saybrook is home to an Ocean State Job Lot, Town Fair Tire, Dollar Tree, O'Reilly Auto Parts and Midas Muffler. Basser Kaufman Saybrook LLC sold the center to OSJL of Old Saybrook LLC. OSJL's principals are listed as Marc and Alan Perlman of Rhode Island, co-founders of Ocean State Job Lot. e 94,175-square-foot shopping center is on an 8.5-acre parcel at 901 Boston Post Rd., or Route 1. Matt Halprin, president and chief operating officer of New England Retail Properties Inc., which is based in Wethersfield, represented both the buyer and seller in the deal. 8 Devine Street The Shoppes at Old Saybrook Meriden shopping center sold for $5.2M; redevelopment planned DealPoint Merrill, a Los Angeles-based real estate investor and developer, has acquired Meriden's Centennial Plaza shopping center. e firm bought the 11-acre site at 560-566 West Main St. for $5.2 million, according to city property records. DealPoint Merrill said it plans to convert former retail space, including a now-empty Stop & Shop supermarket, into climate- controlled storage units. Renovations are expected to begin next month. According to the company's site plan, two current tenants, a Family Dollar store and Apple Dental, will remain in place in the plaza's main strip mall, and other space will be set aside for retail or a restaurant. e plaza also encompasses standalone businesses, including an AutoZone, Wells Fargo branch and CVS pharmacy. Farmington-based Cornerstone Properties, the seller, said the deal was finalized May 27. n 560-566 West Main Street
