Fellow omas College student Dylan Veilleux captured second place, and $7,500, for TreeFreeHeat, a company that recycles Maine's hemp waste into fast-lighting, long-lasting fire starters. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce honored U.S. Sen. Susan Collins with the "Jefferson – Hamilton Award for Bipartisanship," which recognizes members of Con- gress who demonstrate the bipartisan leadership and constructive governing necessary to move our country forward. Collins received a perfect score for the second consecutive year. RE/MAX Shoreline in Portland said that Peter Hawkes was named the top individ- ual RE/MAX agent in Maine in May while Scott Sheppard ranked second. The University of Maine at Augusta announced that it was recognized by Military Times as "Best for Vets," for its service to veterans, military service members and their families. The DuBois Realty Group of Keller Williams Realty in Auburn said it was named to the "2021 America's Best Real Estate Professionals List" for transaction sides in the team category by Real- Trends. To qualify for inclusion in this category, real estate teams must do a minimum of 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume.
