The hotel reopened after hiring back employees in April. Old Sturbridge Village is adding a new cabinet- making shop, the first addition to its Village Common in more than 50 years. Wachusett Mountain Ski Area was among the first Eastern ski centers to open for the 2020-2021 season, putting out coverage on four different trails in late November. The Worcester Art Museum has received $440,000 in grants to open the Higgins Armory Collection, a 2,000 object collection, by the end of 2023. The EcoTarium's president and CEO, Lucy Hale, stepped down from her role at the end of May when her three-year contract expired.
