Sally's has been serving its trademark pies since 1938, and its current location is at 237 Wooster St., in New Haven's Little Italy. e Stamford restaurant will be about 4,000 square feet, with more seating for customers, including a mezzanine and outdoor patio. It will feature a dedicated area for takeout and delivery, and a full bar. e new eatery is being decorated with art and memorabilia to honor Sally's long history as a favorite of musicians, from Frank Sinatra to e Rolling Stones. e pizza served in Stamford will be the same as in New Haven, with the original recipe and a duplicate of New Haven's coal-fired pizza oven.
