The endowed fund supports indigenous, ethnic or ru- ral arts programs or projects in Maine, particularly those that serve areas with limited access to arts events. UMaine names dean of graduate business school A scholar in the business of sports has been named dean of the University of Maine Graduate School of Business, effective July 1. Norm O'Reilly, a professor and former assistant dean at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, has expertise in a range of busi- ness topics, including analytics, mar- keting, sponsorship, sports finance and management education. He will step in for Executive Dean Faye Gilbert, who has served as interim dean of the UMaine school since the departure of J. Michael Weber one year ago. Weber was hired in July 2018 and now holds a simi- lar position at Florida Southern College. e UMaine Graduate School of Business offers an MBA, which it calls the "MaineMBA," in Orono, Portland and online. e MaineMBA is the only graduate business program in Maine accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
