Currently, Cambria has about 60 hotels across the country, with nearly 80 more in the pipeline. New Haven was picked due to its proximity to Yale University, Yale New Haven medical facilities, Hammonasset Beach State Park and other Connecticut attractions, according to the company. e new hotel will feature decor to reflect the region, including artwork from local artists. It will have meeting and event spaces, on-site dining and a fitness center among its amenities. e Cambria Hotel New Haven is being developed in collaboration with HighSide Development, architect and interior designer Baskervill, and construction manager KBE Building Corp. e Pyramid Hotel Group will operate it. Madison bank building sells for $3M JP Morgan Chase Bank has purchased a property at 634 Boston Post Road in Madison for a new bank branch. e deal, which closed for $3.1 million, includes a 6,241-square-foot bank building on approximately half-an-acre. e 3-story building is located in downtown Madison. (Order based on sales date) By Greg Bordonaro West Haven apartments sell for $8.3M A 69-unit West Haven apartment property has sold for $8.3 million, according to the deal's broker. e Colonial Court and e Foundry apartments at 842 1st Ave., sold in May, according to Marcus & Millichap. e buyer was Colonial Foundry Ventures LLC, which is controlled by David Rosenberg of Brooklyn, New York, state records show. e seller was New York-based Paredim Partners LLC, records show. Eric Pentore, a Marcus & Millichap broker involved in the deal, said the West Haven apartment market has been active over the past year. "e West Haven apartment market has performed very well historically, and most especially over the past 9 to 12 months," he said. "e town benefits from its proximity to New Haven, Milford and Fairfield County." e property has 76,208 square feet of rentable space. Construction underway on Cambria Hotel in Elm City Construction has begun on the upscale, six- story, 130-room Cambria Hotel in New Haven. e hotel, which is being built at 20 Dwight St., is expected to open for guests next summer. Cambria is a brand franchised by Choice Hotels International Inc. Woodbury apartments sell for $13.5M A 106-unit apartment complex in Woodbury has sold for $13.5 million. e Woodbury Knoll apartment complex at 302 Tuttle Road was purchased earlier this year by Woodbury Partners Limited Partnership, which is controlled by Yechezkel Landau and Shlomo Tress of Lakewood, New Jersey. e seller was Woodbury Knoll LLC. e 10-building property was originally built in 1966 but was renovated in 2003, according to CoStar. e property sits on 23.33 acres. New Haven apartments sell for $2.8M A New Haven mixed-use apartment building has sold for $2.8 million, city records show. e approximately 20,000-square-foot property at 1409 Chapel St. sold in April. It contains 26 apartment units. e buyer was ECR 1 LLC, which is controlled by Yonah Schwartz of New Haven. e seller was 1411 Chapel Street Associates LLC, which is controlled by R.
