Learning and in house classes. Johnson and Jordan received approval and certification from the Maine Department of Labor, Maine Apprenticeship Program and is recognized and certified by the US Department of Labor/Bureau of Apprenticeship Training. Each year students participating in the apprenticeship program must meet two essential requirements: 1) 144 hours of related instruction through online and in house classes 2) 2,000 on-the- job hours under the direction of experienced workers. At the successful completion of the apprenticeship program, you have will have attained skilled journeyman status and will have a more significant opportunity for obtaining a license and earning above-average wages.
