The Maine Insurance Agents Association in Hallowell elected Jeff Shaw as chairman of its board. Shaw is presi- dent of Clark Insurance in Portland. United Way of Kennebec Valley in Augusta named Andrew Silsby as its campaign chair. Silsby, who will lead the organiza- tion's 2021 fun- draising efforts, is president and CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank. [ A C H I E V E M E N T S ] The Maine Tourism Association in Hallowell said it will posthumously induct Chris Fogg into its Hall of Fame. Fogg, who passed away unex- pectedly in September, served as the CEO of the association for five years. Melina Giakoumis, Caitlin Littlefield and Christina Murphy were selected as "2021 Second Century Stewardship Fellowship" award winners to conduct research in Acadia National Park as part of an initiative of the National Park Service, Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park and the National Park Foundation. Giakoumis is a doctoral candidate at City University of New York, Littlefield is a research assistant professor in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont and Murphy is assistant unit leader of the USGS Maine Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at the University of Maine.
